Prescott Fine Arts Association is offering an expanded summer theatre program for area youth. The program will consist of four, 2-week workshops for ages 6 - 18.

Session One, June 20 - July 1

"Go Fish", a short pre-written musical presentation for ages 6 - 10, meets 10AM - noon. Instructors are Judy Clothier and Linda Sheehan.
"Snapshots", a collection of pre-written and participant written scenes deals with teen life, ages 11 and up and meets 12:30 - 2:30. Instructor is Deb White.

Session Two, July 5 - 15

"Everything I Needed to Know I Learned From Uncle Shelby" is a presentation of poems by Shel Silverstein for ages 6 - 11, meets 10AM - noon. Instructor is Layla Tenney.

"YouTube Yourself!" allows ages 12 - 18 to write and direct their own short digital videos and meets 12:30 - 2:30, though some days may go to 3:30. Instructors are Tiffany Antone and Cason Murphy.

All workshops meet Monday through Friday (except for July 4) and are located at PFAA, 208 N. Marina St. in Prescott. A 'final' performance, free, will be held on the last day of each workshop. The workshops are open to all area youth regardless of experience. The Summer Youth Theatre Program is a great way for kids to experience what Theatre is all about in a safe, relaxed and fun atmosphere. It's also a great way for more theatrically experienced kids to strengthen their skills and talents.

Financial Aid, sibling discounts and time payments are available.

Full information and enrollment form is on the PFAA website at WWW.pfaa.net under the Education heading, then clicking on SYTP, or by calling Jon at 928-541-0209. Enrollment is also available at the theatre.
