HotCity Theatre Announces HOTSTOCK on 11/6

HotCity Theatre, a professional theatre company with a focus on contemporary programming and new play development announces the presentation of "HOTSTOCK," an evening of live music and karaoke to raise money for HotCity's 2011 season.

When: November 6, 2010

 

7:30 - "Daniel and Eddie"

8:45 - "From Left to Right"

10:15 - "The Breaks"

11:45 - 2am - Karaoke

 

Where: The Centene Center for Arts and Education, 4th Floor Rialto ballroom and rooftop Atrium@ 3547 Olive St. - Just east of Grand near the Fox Theatre.

Ticket Info: Tickets are $25. No reservations are required. Sales at the door only. Doors open at 7pm.

About the show: Following up on the success of HotFashion 2010, HotCity keeps the party theme alive by presenting three local bands and karaoke for a full night of rollicking fun on the rooftop of the Centene Center. With music that ranges from original acoustic to rocking covers, it's going to be a great time for all music lovers who want to support HotCity's mission to provide great theatre in St. Louis. Stay late to see fellow patrons, actors and staff attempt to sing such classics as "Don't Stop Believing," "Dust in the Wind," or anything from "Wicked."

There will be a full cash bar throughout the night catered by "With Love Catering..." Half of drink proceeds also benefit HotCity Theatre.

HotCity Theatre operates under a Small Professional Theatre contract with Actors Equity, the union of professional actors and Stage Managers in the United States, and receives funding from the Siteman Foundation, Regional Arts Commission, The Whitaker Foundation, The Arts and Education Council, The Greater St. Louis Community Foundation, The Missouri Arts Council, The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, The John R. Goodall Charitable Trust and the William A. Kerr Foundation, as well as generous individuals in the community.
