Avalon Theatre Company closes its sixth season with John Pielmeier's haunting glimpse into science, faith, and even miracles, Agnes of God, April 28 - May 8 at Avalon in ArtSpace at Crestwood Court.

Directed by John Contini, the cast of Agnes of God features Erin Kelley* as Doctor Livingstone, Linda Kennedy* as Mother Miriam, and Sabra Sellers as Sister Agnes.

A psychiatrist is appointed by the court to determine whether or not a seemingly innocent young nun, Agnes, is mentally competent to stand trial for the death of an infant mysteriously found in her room at the convent. The Mother Superior is determined to protect Agnes. Was there a murder or a miracle? The answers change the doctor's life, and the lives of the two women of faith, forever.

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays @ 8 pm; Sundays @ 3 pm. Ticket prices are $20 full-time student, $25 senior (60+), and $30 general admission. Friday, April 29 is student night. Full-time students (18+) can see the show for $15. This discount can be obtained via phone or at the door.
