7th Annual 'Pedal the Cause' Charity Event Returns to St. Louis, Today

By:

St. Louis-based agency CPG has been a part of creating "A World Without Cancer" through its production and sponsorship of the annual Pedal the Cause fundraiser weekend ever since it was first introduced in 2009. The community-wide cycling challenge takes place September 24-25th at the Chesterfield Amphitheater and provides critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Through the years, this event has made a positive impact on the larger St. Louis community thanks to its 100% fundraising model that ensures all donations are used to advance lifesaving cancer research and all event costs are covered by sponsorships. Since 2009, Pedal the Cause has raised over $12.5 million dollars.

"This is certainly a passion project for the CPG team," said CEO Keith Alper. "From a community as well as a cause perspective, we're very proud to be a part of making this happen. Our producers and creative teams love partnering with the Pedal team to brainstorm and develop exciting new aspects of the fundraiser each year.

Our goal is to help inspire and impact the riders, teams, sponsors, patients and volunteers to beat their goals and help fight Cancer. To make a donation for Pedal the Cause, please visit http://stlouis.pedalthecause.org/donate.jsp.
