Megan Furniss Brings DRIVE WITH ME to Alexander Upstairs, Now thru 11/22

DRIVE WITH ME, written and performed by Megan Furniss, directed by Liz Mills, sound art by James Webb, visuals by Sanjin Muftic, will play Alexander Upstairs, today, November 20-22, 2013.

Marion Taylor is trying to present her "The Road Trip" lecture at the Grahamstown festival's Thinkfest!, but her own journey to Grahamstown keeps getting in the way. Drive With Me takes the audience on a journey in which they slowly come to the realisation that things are not what they seem... they are in a very strange place, with a very strange somebody... Drive With Me is theatre at its unsettling best. Winner of a coveted Ovation Award at the Grahamstown festival 2013.

Drive With Me is a personal, symbolic, engrossing story, intended to give an audience a thrilling theatrical experience. Combining the mundane, familiar and everyday, with a uniquely South African landscape and the deeply strange, Drive With Me is original, local and innovative.
