Kathy & Mo Take To the Stage at Trustus Through 7/24
The 25th Anniversary season of Trustus theatre would not be complete without Parallel Lives: The Kathy & Mo Show by Mo Gaffney & Kathy Najimy and starring Dewey Scott-Wiley and Elena Martinez-Vidal.
This stalwart comedy has delighted audiences at Trustus in the past and will do so once again. We encounter two Supreme Beings planning the beginning of the world. Once they have decided on the color scheme of the races, a little concerned that white people will feel slighted being such a boring color, they create sex and the sexes. Afraid women will have too many advantages; the Beings decide to make childbirth painful and to give men enormous egos as compensation. From this moment on, the audience is whisked through the outrageous universe of Kathy & Mo with laughs coming a mile a minute.
The Kathy & Mo Show runs just 3 nights in the mainstage: July 22-24. The Thursday show is at 7:30 PM and the Friday & Saturday shows are at 8 PM.
Tickets are $20 on Thursday & $22.50 on Friday & Saturday. Trustus also sells half price student rush tickets 15 minutes prior to the curtain with a valid ID. For reservations, call the box office at 803-254-9732.
