Electric City Playhouse Holds Auditions for CROWNS 3/7 & 3/8

Crowns is an African American play by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry which will be directed by Cecilia Sampson. Auditions will be held March 7 & 8 at 7PM at the Electric City Playhouse, with rehearsals beginning that same week. Show dates are May 19 through June 5. Available roles include seven African American female singer/actors with ages ranging from 18 to 60. Please come prepared to sing and cold read from the script, although a prepared monologue and song would be beneficial. Also available is one African American male role, age 40 and up. We are also looking for an experienced African American pianist and male conga (African drum) player. The Electric City Playhouse does not precast, and all roles are available.
