BWW Feature: 2018-19 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT at Foothills Playhouse

When Will Ragland became the new executive artistic director of Foothills Playhouse in Easley, SC, he surveyed 500 patrons to help guide his choices for the 2018-19 season. Last Friday, he announced his selections. It's a crowd-pleasing lineup of favorites that should make the theatre's 38th season a winner.

"We hope to embrace our community through the performance of quality, affordable entertainment for the whole family," Ragland told BWW. "I am honored to play a part in this theater's growth."

October 5-21, 2018

Directed by Noah Taylor

Prepare ye for the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty, and love based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. Godspell features a parade of beloved songs, including "Day by Day," "All Good Gifts," "By My Side," and "Beautiful City."

Elf the Musical, Jr

November 30-December 16, 2018

Directed by Erin Gill

Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. This modern-day holiday classic is sure to make every youngster embrace his or her "inner elf."

Steel Magnolias

February 8-24, 2019

Willy Wonka
