The South Bend Symphony Orchestra concludes the 2024-25 Jack M. Champaigne Masterworks Series with an evening featuring Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, conducted by Music Director Alastair Willis. The program opens with Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, followed by the Indiana premieres of Adolphus Hailstork’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Peter Boyer’s Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue, with acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Biegel as the soloist. The concert culminates in Rachmaninoff's final orchestral masterpiece, showcasing a fusion of Russian and American musical influences.
