The Round Barn Theatre At Amish Acres Announces Its 2019 Local Auditions

The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres, Nappanee, Indiana, and Executive Producer Richard Pletcher, Artistic Director Jerry O'Boyle and Managing Artistic Director Ryan Schisler, are seeking resident company members for its nine month 2019 season of rotating repertory theatre Nappanee, Indiana March 9 & 10, 2019. The ensemble will include dozens of non-union actor/singer/dancers and technical staff. The 2019 season will include Plain and Fancy, Life Could Be a Dream, Freaky Friday, Big River, Anne of Green Gables, The Sunshine Boys and Beauty and the Beast.

Repertory company members have roles in every production, with single show job-in actors filling slots in the season. Per performance salary, rehearsal stipend and discounted meals are provided to all. Housing is provided to those from outside the Michiana area. The theatre is especially seeking many different types of actors who sing and dance with ease and/or can play a wide age-range. The call will be held by appointment only at The Round Barn Theatre 1600 W. Market St. Nappanee IN, 46550. Please bring 2 contrasting musical pieces, a monologue, a headshot / resume, and a list of possible conflicts for the year. An accompanist will be provided. The Round Barn Theatre is in constant search for technically qualified candidates to fill its growing stage management, sound, lighting, costuming, scenic design, and children's theatre needs.
