The summer of 2015 is looking to be the best summer yet! This year's Summer lineup of theater is stellar! Take a look at my top 5 picks of Summer Theater that you should check out as you relax under the heat and soak up the sun!

The Main Stage, Inc. in Mishawaka, IN

The Main Stage, Inc. has a jammed pack summer full of classics and contemporary musical theater. First on the list, The Main Stage will produce "Oliver! The Musical" on June 12th and 13th at The Bendix Theater at Century Center in South Bend. See the classic Charles Dickens tale come to life on stage with music by Lionel Bart.

The second summer production by The Main Stage will be "The Addams Family The Musical". This beloved story of crazy, but loving family will take place on August 28th and 29th at The Bendix Theater at Century Center in South Bend. Come join in the fun with The Addams Family at The Main Stage!

Wagon Wheel Theater Company in Warsaw, IN

The Wagon Wheel Theater Company is a regional theater based in Warsaw, IN, and is by far one of the leading theaters in Indiana. I'm excited to bring your information on their season, as well as review their shows this season! Check out their shows listed below!

South Bend Civic Theater in South Bend, IN

South Bend Civic is very excited for their 2015 Summer Season, and has a jammed packed lineup of entertainment to offer. Starting June 12 and running till June 28th at the Warner Theater, South Bend Civic will produce, "The Explorers Club". A freewheeling farce from Tony nominee Nell Benjamin. The Explorers Club members, who have been adventuring since 1582 and drinking since breakfast, face their worst crisis - admitting a woman. Following "The Explorers Club" will be the 2015 summer musical, "Fiddler on the Roof". Celebrating its 50th anniversary, you'll be able to see this production at St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend From July 31st-August 8th. Following Fiddler will be a world premier work written by local playwright, Matt Benedict. "A False Lie" tells the story of two damaged souls - one from divorce, one from cancer - trying to find a connection. "A False Lie" will run August 14th-22nd at The Firehouse Theater.

Premier Arts in Elkhart, IN

Premier Arts in Elkhart, IN is ready to present the area with the hit musical, "Legally Blonde The Musical" on July 17th-19th at The Lerner Theater in Elkhart. Come see the story of Elle Woods triumph her challenges, and hear some awesome music by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin!

Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso, IN

Memorial Opera House is my favorite Northwestern Indiana theater company, and they're bringing an awesome production to the Opera House this summer. Come see, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" running from July 31st-August 26th. This hilarious production will be sure to knock your socks off, and make for good summer memories!
