South Bend Civic Theatre to Stage TAKE ME OUT, 11/7-23
Director Aaron Nichols says: "Take Me Out is an homage to our American pastime. No. Not baseball. Hero worship. The cost of celebrity. The fine line between public and private in our increasingly "social" world. While the play is certainly a love-letter to America's sport, it's also an examination of modern masculinity, institutional homophobia, and how sport can 'take us out' of ourselves."
Please note: Take Me Out contains strong adult language and partial nudity.
Performances for Take Me Out run November 7-23 in the Warner Theatre, 403 N Main St. in South Bend. Show times are 7:30 PM Wednesday through Saturday and 2:00 PM Sundays. Ticket prices are $18 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; and $15 Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets may be purchased from the SBCT Box Office at 574-234-1112 or online sbct.org.
