Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre Presents THE ADDAMS FAMILY

The Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre proudly presents the hit Broadway musical, The Addams Family! In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. Nonetheless, this quirky family still has to deal with many of the same challenges faced by any other family. The Addamses have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years and Gomez and Morticia, the patriarch and matriarch of the clan, would be only too happy to continue living that way. However, their dark, macabre, beloved daughter Wednesday is now an eighteen year-old young woman who is ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family. And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid for generations.

The cast includes Atticus Bennett as Gomez Addams, Kaylee McCullar as Morticia Addams, Janae Jeran as Wednesday Addams, Mason Brindle as Pugsley Addams, Jason Wendt as Fester Addams, Daniel Moser as Lucas Beineke, Holden Davenport as Mal Beineke, Gwenyth Baer and Alice Beineke, Zara McCord as Grandma Addams, and Dylan Record as Lurch Addams. The Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre's production of The Addams Family also features a stellar ensemble of 30 area high schoolers and middle schoolers from 11 local schools. FWSMT has provided an artistic outlet and theatre experience to countless local, young actors for the past 19 years.

Performances will take place July 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th at 7:30pm, and July 9th and 16th at 2:00pm. The show is being performed at the Summers Auditorium at Canterbury High School, Door 12, 3210 Smith Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
