574 Theatre Announces 2019 Season Auditions

The 574 Theatre Company of Mishawaka is proud to announce open auditions for their 2nd Summer Season. 2019 Summer Season shows include A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, 574 Theatre Deaf Theatre Project production of Into the Woods, Almost, Maine, and Hello, Dolly! New to 2019, 574 Theatre is seeking 6 actors to fill their Summer Acting Company, which will fill roles in all fthe summer shows.

Auditions for the 2019 season will be held on Saturday, February 9 and Saturday, February 16 at First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Mishawaka. Auditions will be held in 1 hour time slots where you perform a 1 minute monologue, one up-tempo song, and a ballad, 16-bars each, and a dance audition. An accompanist will be provided, bring copies of sheet music for the accompanist, and a copy of the monologue for the creative team.

Option 1 (Acting Company):
This year, 574 Theatre is introducing The Acting Company. The Acting Company will be made up of 6 actors who will perform in all 4 shows in the summer season (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Into the Woods, Almost, Maine, and Hello, Dolly). These 6 individuals will be cast into all the shows (not necessarily as leads) as seen fit for the production. These actors need be not only looking for highly skilled and trained performers, but also be leaders, and ambassadors of theatre. Along with the audition requirements listed above, those interested in auditioning for the company will be interviewed by the Artistic and Executive Director, as well as the Production Stage Manager. All Acting Company positions are paid positions. If you are interested in auditioning for 574 Theatre's very first Acting Company, please fill out The Acting Company Form (Link below). *Note: If you audition for The Acting Company, it's still possible to only be cast in individual shows. By auditioning for The Acting Company, you are auditioning for all fthe shows. It's not a "You're in The Acting Company or not in anything at all" situation.

Option 2 (Individual Show Auditions):
If committing to the entire season does not interest you, there will also be auditions for the first 3 shows individually (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Into the Woods, and Almost, Maine). Note: Hello, Dolly Auditions will take place in June 2019. These are general auditions for the first 3 shows, and all roles are available.
