Pete Clifford (lead guitar, bass guitar and vocals), Paul
Ditchfield (keyboard, bass guitar and vocals), Eddie
Eckstein (drums, vocals and stand-up comedy) and
Derek Gordon (bass guitar, rhythm guitar, keyboard
and vocals) are bringing back that "old bat magic".

The moment that Bat lovers everywhere have been waiting for here: THE BATS will bring that "old bat magic" back when Eddie Eckstein, Paul Ditchfield, Pete Clifford and Derek Gordon reunite for a six-performance run at Theatre on the Bay this June.

A rollicking, rocking mix of music and laughs, THE BATS will have audiences out of their seats, singing along and shouting for more.

The killer quartet will belt out the songs that everyone wants to hear, including "Listen to My Heart", which raced up the Radio London charts, "Oh God It's Beautiful", which was chosen to represent South Africa at the Tokyo World Song Festival, the Sarie Award-winning song "Who's That Girl?", and "Cry to Me" from the film KATRINA.

All of those funny, silly, fall-over-laughing-'cos-they're-so-daft-songs - like "The Lotto Song", "My Nose Is Running Money and I'll Blow It All On You" and "I Don't Look Good Naked Anymore" - will also cheer up audiences, a perfect tonic for stressed-out South Africans.

Laughing at themselves and taking the mickey out of everything and everyone, while playing catchy music that will make you cheer out loud, THE BATS promises to be an unforgettable show with these four unforgettable guys.

THE BATS takes over Theatre on the Bay from 20 - 25 June, with performances taking place at 20:000 nightly. Tickets for the two-hour show cost R100 - R160 and tickets are available at Computicket.
