THREE PIZZAS, a new piece devised by Tristan de Beer, Nelson Menell and Tailyn Ramsamy, who will also perform the play, will play The Arena Theatre at the University of Cape Town's Hiddingh Campus in Gardens this November. Mfundo Tshazibane will direct the production.

THREE PIZZAS offers up three slices of life, with a diverse array of toppings, spices, and sauce. When you throw these ingredients in the oven and turn up the heat, what is created? What remains unchanged?

With the scourge of climate change, the need for technology and the possibility of World War III, society continuously challenges people's identities. When three millennials move into a newly constructed apartment in Cape Town, the last thing they expect is to move in with the people from whom they are trying to run. These characters, from different cultures, take us on a journey through the menu of adulthood, exploring the human condition and the way we constantly mask our true identity to live harmoniously with each other.

THREE PIZZAS runs from 3 - 7 November. Ticket prices are R70 for general admission and R50 for students and pensioners. Tickets can be pre-booked through the Little Theatre office by email or phone on 021 650 7129.

UPDATE: Please note that this production has been cancelled due to protest action being taken by students at the University of Cape Town.
