Nassau Theatre to Stage TAPE, 5/28 - 6/8

A dingy motel somewhere in Michigan. A relationship gone awry. A man called Vince. A man called Jon. A woman called Amy. A tape. A case of beer. A provocation. A shocking confession.

TAPE, the acclaimed play by American playwright, Stephen Belber, opens this week at the exquisite Nassau Theater in Newlands, Cape Town. Starring Scott Cooper, Bjorn Steinbach and Shannyn Fourie, the play has been directed by Gabriella Pinto and features the music of The Plastics.

Three high school friends reunite in a dingy motel room somewhere in Michigan a decade later. A confession, a betrayal , a surprise and the unearthing of blurry and explicit events from a high school party best left forgotten.
