JAM EVERY OTHER DAY at the Masque Theatre

JAM EVERY OTHER DAY is returning to the Masque Theatre to delight and entertain audiences this April. Adapted from the memoir of South African author, Emmaleen Kriel, this play is a feel-good show with healthy doses of humour, charm and pathos. F Creations is proud to be presenting this incredible play in association with Constantiaberg Theatre Players for a run in April 2018.

The story follows the lives of Kriel and her brood of children, geese, ponies and dogs from their home in 1960s rural Constantia to their adventure in the forests of Knysna. Life certainly had its hardships for the family, but on the whole it genuinely was just as idyllic as it seemed - if a little unconventional.

This daring one-woman show is brought to life by popular Masque actress, Erika Marais. She not only performs the piece but was the driving force behind the adaptation. Having been a young mother herself, Marais found that the challenges and the life portrayed in the memoir resonated deeply.

The piece has been thoughtfully crafted by award-winning director Celia Musikanth. Adding the creative cherry on top, the lighting and sound are designed by Gary Fargher, who has won numerous awards for his technical excellence.

JAM EVERY OTHER DAY runs at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg on Fridays and Saturdays from 13 - 21 April. To book, visit any Computicket outlet or on their website. Alternatively, contact the Masque Theatre by email or on their bookings line on 021 788 1898 (weekdays from 9:00-16:00 and Saturdays from 9:00-12:00). For more information, visit F Creations on Facebook and the Masque Theatre website.
