Immersive IMMORTAL to Enthrall Audiences at The Castle Of Good Hope This Holiday Season

Standing O Immersive Experiences will proudly present IMMORTAL, the first-ever immersive theatre production of its kind in South Africa, at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town over the upcoming holiday season. Immersive theatre, a phenomenon that has wowed audiences across the world from London to New York, is sure to have the same effect on locals and visitors to the Mother City this December and January.

For IMMORTAL, a multi-award-winning creative team will transform three floors of the Castle of Good Hope into a breathtaking visual spectacle, complete with mind-boggling sets, exquisite costumes. Audiences can go anywhere they choose and touch anything they see - they are the masters of their fate. IMMORTAL invites its guests to step boldly into a mysterious new realm and uncover the secrets of a mansion lost in time.

Writer-director Joshua G. Ackerman heads up the creative team of the production, with the assistance of writers Angelika Ronge and Kaylee Kantor and choreographer Alice Kok. Costume design is by Niall Griffin, set design is by Nicola Mayer, and lighting design is by Chris Lotz.

IMMORTAL features a cast of South Africa's finest talents, including Kai Luke Brümmer, Shannyn Fourie, Alice Kok, Craig Morris, Skye Russell, Clinton Small, Glenn Swart, Liezel Swartz, Lee Van Der Merwe and Maria Vos.

Tickets for IMMORTAL, which runs from 7 December - 13 January, cost R335 - R385 and can be booked online through Computicket. Shows start at 19:30, with the Castle of Good Hope opening an hour earlier. A cash bar and refreshments are available at the venue. No one under 18 will be admitted as alcohol will be served on the premises.
