COMPLETELY NUTS starring GINO FABBRI and DONNA AFRICA plays MONDAYS to SATURDAYS from 31st JANUARY to 12th FEBRUARY 2011
Tickets R85 per person

The rubber-faced comedic antics of Gino Fabbri and his 'side-chick' Donna Africa will be introduced to Cape Town audiences for the first time in this comedy review which sets out to prove that madness, like stupidity, is an entirely subjective affair!

Fabbri has been enchanting Eastern Cape and national corporate audiences for a number of years, with his off-beat character driven humour. Described as a cross between Shirley Bassey and Tina Turner Donna Africa is a talented songstress who lends her spectacular voice to some foot-stomping latest chart toppers between proceedings.

'Sanity' is a word not often associated with Fabbri - or more specifically, with the hair-brained assortment of loony-bin characters with the strangest outlook on life which he portrays!

Take his traffic officer Helmut Ramspoed, a self-proclaimed superhero of traffic ordinance compliance, who takes his job just a little too seriously to be called mentally stable! Or there's ultra-loyal English soccer fan Wayne Noibert Rooney, who's dumber than a box of hair and completely misses the message about everything South African whilst on his wife-avoiding world cup soccer sojourn. See the world through the wine-stained eyes of the colourful Virgil September from Mitchell's Plain or meet the terrifically wealthy Sheik Rattle n Roll, who puts a price tag on everything and shows how different priorities can be when money flows like oil.

You'll also be introduced to oriental Footsa Kionaai, pheromone-laden Latin lover Minuto Peniso, pop-idol wannabe Ruan Hollywood, as well as a taxi driver, record producer and funeral impressario Gotitsa Whiti. These are just a few of the defective personalities you'll meet as 'madness takes it's toll' in this maladjusted loony bin of a show which will have you rolling in the aisles and even questioning your own sanity!

Multi-talented Fabbri ends the show by taking the audience through a hilarious rollercoaster ride of the different dance styles as they evolved from the early fifties until today.

So get committed - come walk the tightrope between sanity and madness with Gino and Donna and find out for yourself if Gino is indeed "nuttier than a pile of squirrel droppings" in the full knowledge that one thing will always be certain: you'll be none the wiser after seeing this show!
