The 2018 Broadway At Music Circus season continues with Disney's Newsies, which The New York Times called 'a musical worth singing about!' With a cast that includes Broadway veterans and veterans of the Broadway and national touring productions of Newsies-and featuring the original Tony Award-winning Broadway choreography-the show is sure to be an audience favorite. Performances of Disney's Newsies are Tuesday, July 10 through Sunday, July 15 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

Kiara Sasso, considered by many to be one of the biggest names in Brazilian musical theater of her generation, is back in Sao Paulo with her 'Silhuetas' for a new presentation, with news in the script and setlist, scheduled for May 31, at Theatro NET SP. What happens when kids have the world at their feet, and its weight on their shoulders? Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents the Los Angeles premiere of Punk Rock, a ferociously funny, complex and unnerving play by Tony Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) that peels back the layers of teen angst for a deeper look at what might make one of them snap. Lisa Jamesdirects for a March 25 opening at the Odyssey Theatre.

Olivier Award winners Pat Kinevane and Fishamble: The New Play Company return to Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, the company that introduced Los Angeles audiences to the Irish writer/performer's extraordinary Forgotten and Silent, with his third solo work about life lived on the fringes of society. Jim Culleton, artistic director of Dublin's Fishamble and director of both Forgotten and Silent, directs the West Coast premiere of Underneath for a limited run Oct. 14 - Oct. 30. The engagement will also include two performances of Silent, which garnered the 2016 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement following its run at London's Soho Theatre.

The New Group honored Wallace Shawn and Fred Wistow with the fifth annual Michael Mendelson Award.
