L.A. Opera presents The Light in the Piazza! Get a first look at the production in the photos!

Here is a first look at production photos for The Barn Stage Company's production of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical Little Women, which opened on Friday night! Based on Louisa May Alcott's classic 1869 novel, the show which has a book by Allan Knee, with lyrics by Mindi Dickstein and music by Jason Howland, will play the Old Town Temecula Theatre venue from 11 January to the 21.

Rehearsals are underway for The Barn Stage Company's upcoming production of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical Little Women, the second production in their 2017/18 season from the partnership with Temecula Presents.

Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright premieres his new play at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. It is a fictional play about the last days of legendary journalist Oriana Fallaci. Don't miss this sizzling new script, which is directed by Oskar Eustis, stars Concetta Tomei and Marjan Neshat, and features an incredible team of designers. The 65th world premiere presented by Berkeley Rep, Fallaci is currently in previews in the Roda Theatre and opens March 13, running through April 21. CAP 21, now in its 18th year of creating new work and developing new talent as America's Musical Theatre Conservatory and Theatre Company, honored award-winning composers and lyricists Jason Robert Brown and Georgia Stitt with its annual all-star benefit concert last night, April 11 at The Kaye Playhouse in Manhattan.

On Sunday, Aug 23rd 2009, Upright Cabaret's incredibly popular 'Wicked Summer Nights' series at the Ford Amphitheatre drew to a close with a spectacular concert entitled 'Stephen Schwartz: Making Good' which set out to celebrate the works of the man who inspired the series, Mr. Stephen Schwartz.

VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce its upcoming revival of THE BULLY, an original musical for children with music and lyrics by JOHN GREGOR and book by DAVID L. WILLIAMS, directed and choreographed by TROY MILLER, at the BLEECKER STREET THEATRE. Performances run Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m., July 6th through August 2nd.

A sold-out audience of over 550 people attended the annual benefit, 'Footlights and Film: A Celebration of the Great Musicals from Stage and Screen,' hosted by Julia Roberts and featuring a special tribute to Angela Lansbury presented by Bernadette Peters, at Westport Country Playhouse, Westport, CT (Joanne Woodward and Anne Keefe, artistic directors, Jodi Schoenbrun Carter, managing director) on Monday evening, September 15. The fundraiser grossed $1,407,610, including revenue from tickets, donations and silent auctions.

Direct from Broadway, the romantic new musical The Light in the Piazza returns to Chicago for a limited, two-week engagement at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E. Congress Parkway, July 10 through 22, 2007.

On Wednesday, December 7, 2005 The Pajama Game held a preview for the press in New York City. The musical begins previews on January 19th and opens on February 23rd.

On October 23rd at 9:30PM, at Joe's Pub, Broadway favorite and New Orleans resident, Bryan Batt hosted a concert benefiting the victims of Hurricane Katrina. With Love, From Broadway to the Bayou's proceeds went to The Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.

The 19th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction was held on Sunday, September 25 in Shubert Alley. The Flea Market raised a grand total of $544,037 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
