Dutch Kills Theater is presenting the New York Premiere of THE ANTELOPE PARTY by Eric John Meyer. It is directed by 2017 Lucille Lortel Award winner Jess Chayes (HOME/SICK, Half Moon Bay) with dramaturgy by Sarah Lunnie (What the Constitution Means to Me, Grand Horizons, Hillary and Clinton, A Doll’s House Part 2). 

This year's Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) Masquerade Ball and After Party, an annual benefit gala in support of the 54-year-old arts organization, surpassed expectations once again by raising over a million dollars, for the second year in a row. The event was held at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, and was hosted by Fox 5's very own, Lori Stokes who shared the podium with co-host, 9-year-oldJayden Hairston, one of HSA's outstanding student ambassadors.

Last night, Aladdin celebrated its second birthday on London's West End. The show was celebrated with a celebrity gala that included guests such as Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily, Ore Oduba, Ryan Molloy, Killian Murphy, Made in Chelsea's Ryan Libbey, and London Hughes.

Wrapping up their 2017-18 Season 'Truth & Illusion' East German rock-goddess Hedwig takes The Stage! Hedwig and her band The Angry Inch will be rocking all summer with their hit smash-hits like; 'Tear Me Down', 'The Origin of Love', 'Sugar Daddy', & 'Wig in a Box'. Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will soon present LOG CABIN, the world premiere of a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison (Marjorie Prime, Maple and Vine, Doris to Darlene at Playwrights; 'Orange Is the New Black'). Directed by Tony Award and Obie Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, The Qualms at Playwrights; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Parisian Woman), LOG CABIN will be the sixth and final production of the theater company's current 2017/2018 Season.

Presented in association with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, Joe Gulla's 'GAY.PORN.MAFIA', directed by Brian Rardin, had its World Premiere at the New York Live Arts Theater this past Saturday, April 14th.

Coronado Playhouse opens its 2018 Season, A Family Affair, with The Addams Family, opening Friday, January 19th and running until Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at Coronado Playhouse. The Addams Family, a musical comedy, is written by the creators of the multi award-winning Jersey Boys, with music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party) and based on characters created by Charles Addams.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company, recipient of a Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award, launches their 2017-2018 season with the New York premiere of Muswell Hill, a play by Torben Betts, in a co-production with The Pond Theatre Company. Directed by Shannon Patterson, the six-member cast features Jason Alan Carvell (War Horse), as Mat, Colleen Clinton (Proof) as Jess, Lily Dorment (Abigail's Party) as Karen, Richard Hollis (The Curious Incident of the Dog in The Night-Time) as Simon, John Pirkis ('Blue Bloods') as Tony, and Sarah Street (Abigail's Party) as Annie. BoHo Theatre closes out its successful 2017 season with the passionate musical MARIE CHRISTINE by Michael John LaChiusa at the Theater Wit, directed by Lili-Anne Brown. Taking inspiration from the life of Marie Laveau, the famed Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, MARIE CHRISTINE is a visceral reimagining of the Greek myth of Medea. LaChiusa is the acclaimed writer and composer of THE WILD PARTY and HELLO AGAIN. MARIE CHRISTINE is playing at Theater Wit through December 10, 2017. A magnificently macabre musical comedy, The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy will open on October 6, 2017 at Chanticleers Theatre in Castro Valley. The show was created by an award-winning team that includes authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), composer-lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party). Directed by Chanticleers Theatre's Artistic Director, John Baiocchi, the production promises to delight audiences with humor, an original story, song and dance, and all your favorite Addams Family characters.

The Casting Auction, in association with Kokandy Productions, will be auctioning off more than 30 roles for this season's musical production, The ADDAMS FAMILY, on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Michelle's Ballroom, 2800 W. Cal State Fullerton's production of Andrew Lippa's Wild Party, with music, lyrics and book by Andrew Lippa and based on the poem by Joseph Moncure March, is directed by guest artist Jeremy Lewis, choreographed by William F. Rubicon Theatre Company presents GULF VIEW DRIVE , the third and final play in Arlene Hutton's Nibroc Trilogy, directed by Indy award-winning Katharine Farmer with the same cast reprising their critically-acclaimed roles from the Los Angeles Times "Critic's Choice" productions of Last Train to Nibroc and last season's See Rock City. Lily Nicksay ("Boy Meets World"/The Wild Duck at A Noise Within) and Erik Odom ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"/Sons of the Prophet at The Blank) return as May and Raleigh, along with See Rock City featured cast members Clarinda Ross (Spit Like a Big Girl/Steel Magnolias) and Sharon Sharth (Waiting for Grace/ member of Actors Studio and Circle Rep in New York). Joining the cast is returning Rubicon artist Faline England (Crimes of the Heart (Indy Award)/Turn of the Screw (Ovation Nomination). The ongoing love story of May and Raleigh concludes with the Kentucky couple now living comfortably in Florida in the 1950s. But their settled life is once again rocked by the arrival of family and turbulent events that threaten their sunny existence. Their love and devotion are put to the test when they must make unconventional decisions in a rapidly changing world. GULF VIEW DRIVE opens in Ventura on Saturday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a post-show party with cast, crew and local VIPs. Low-priced previews are January 25-27. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through February 12, 2017.

Theatre 20 kicked off it's 2011-2012 concert season on Monday May 9th with The Story Begins, an evening of songs from story driven musicals.
