Bonnie Langford, the much-loved star of stage and screen, has joined the cast of 42nd Street, the spectacular homage to the world of musical theatre, as the production extends its residency at Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a final time, through to Saturday 5 January 2019.

Broadway's Norm Lewis ('Once on this Island') stopped backstage recently after seeing '42nd Street' at the historic Bucks County Playhouse, where it recently broke the theater's Box Office record. 

With a tap-happy cast and a score chock-filled with American songbook classics, Bucks County Playhouse presents the quintessential backstage musical comedy '42nd Street' through August 4, 2018. This an all-new production is directed by Bucks County Playhouse Artistic Associate Hunter Foster and choreographed by Jeremy Dumont. Get a first look at the production below!

Tchaikovsky: None But the Lonely Heart is the final production of the 2017-'18 season at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues) The show opened last night, May 31st, to kick off its limited Off-Broadway engagement which runs through June 17th only. San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors), currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary in continuous operation, has announced the full cast and creative team for the final production of the 2017-2018 season: ME AND MY GIRL, a hilarious and delightful 1930s West End smash hit (winner of three Tony Awards for the critically-acclaimed 1986 Broadway revival). ME AND MY GIRL features book and lyrics by L. Arthur Rose & Douglas Furber, revised by Stephen Fry with contributions by Mike Ockrent, and music by Noel Gay. ME AND MY GIRL runs from May 2 - 20, 2018 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). Kings of Harlem, an exuberant play about an African-American basketball team in the 1930s and Sunday in the Park with George, Stephen Sondheim's intricate musical about painter George Seurat, took their respective places in South Florida theatrical history as Best Play and Best Musical on Monday, April 2, when the winners of the 42nd annual Carbonell Awards were announced. The ceremony was held at Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.

The World Premiere of Don Nguyen's Hello, From the Children of Planet Earth opens tonight, on March 7 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Presented by The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) and directed by Jade King Carroll, this philosophical, and tender comedy is split between the perspectives of a lesbian couple trying to conceive, and their potential-sperm-donor/aerospace engineer friend as they're stretched to contemplate the unknowns of their future.

John Lithgow: Stories By Heart began preview performances last night, December 21, 2017 and opens officially on Thursday, January 11, 2018. The premiere of the new musical, The Time Machine, with book by David Mauk and Brenda Mandabach, music and lyrics by David Mauk, is an Official Selection of the 2017 New York Musical Festival, directed by Justin Baldridge with choreography by Jim Cooney and music direction by Kristen Lee Rosenfeld. The New York premiere of the new Australian musical, Errol and Fidel, with book by Boyd Anderson and Guy Anderson, music by Peter Kaldor, John Kaldor and Doug Oberhamer, and lyrics by Boyd Anderson, is an Official Selection of the 2017 New York Musical Festival, and the only international production chosen this year. It will be directed by Michael Bello, with choreography by Justin Boccitto and music direction, arrangements & orchestrations by Doug Oberhamer.
