An Incident at the Border Photos - West End

The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has welcomed a new cast to the West End production, and last night (30 June 2015) held a special gala performance with celebrity V.I.P. guests at the Gielgud Theatre.  Last month the play was one of the big winners at the Tony Awards® in New York, winning 5 awards including Best New Play. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time recently extended booking in London, releasing over 120,000 tickets and is now booking until 13 February 2016.

Having recently released over 100,000 new tickets extending booking at London's Gielgud Theatre to 23 May 2015, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has now been seen on stage by over 400,000 people worldwide. Winner of seven Olivier Awards including 'Best New Play' The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time opened to critical acclaim on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre earlier this month.

New York-based playwright/psychiatrist Guy Fredrick Glass tackles the controversial subject of gay conversion therapy in a tale of love, liberation and opera. John Henry Davis directs the world premiere of Doctor Anonymous, opening March 29 at the Zephyr Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Rehearsals started this week for Tarragon Theatre's world premiere of This is War, written by acclaimed Tarragon playwright-in-residence Hannah Moscovitch and directed by Artistic Director Richard Rose. This is War opens January 3 and runs to February 3, 2013 in Tarragon Theatre's Extra Space (with previews from December 28). BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production in the photos below!

Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Mark Blum, Darren Goldstein, Gretchen Mol, Alfredo Narciso and Eric Nelsen. Previews began October 31 in advance of an Official Opening Night tomorrow, November 15 at 7:00pm. The limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through December 22 at The New Group @ Theatre Row (The Acorn Theatre / 410 West 42nd Street / Acorn Theatre). To coincide with the ongoing presidential campaign, the Huntington Theatre Company will stage the American premiere of Now or Later, Christopher Shinn's timely political drama about our freedoms. Drama Desk and Outer Critic's Circle Award winner Michael Wilson, who recently helmed the acclaimed Broadway production of Gore Vidal's presidential drama The Best Man, directs the new production. The production opens tomorrow, Wednesday, October 17 and runs through November 10. Get a first look at the cast onstage below!

Gem of the Ocean opens on the Trustus Main Stage on February 10 at 8:00pm, and runs through March 3rd, 2012.

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE Award-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present 'THE GERM PROJECT,' featuring the work of playwrights Kara Lee Corthron (directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni), Lynn Rosen (directed by Shoshana Gold), Kathryn Walat (directed by Portia Krieger), and Anna Ziegler (directed by Beatrice Terry). The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). Previews will begin on June 11, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Performances will run through July 9.

On Saturday, October 10, HUMAN ANIMALS celebrated the opening of its inaugural production - the World Premiere of middlemen, an existential office comedy concerning adulthood, non-dairy creamer, and the collapse of the American workplace. Written by David Jenkins and directed by Josie Whittlesey, performances began at Walkerspace (46 Walker Street) on Friday, October 9th, 2009. The production is currently playing at Walkerspace through October 30.
