Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) presented a one-night only Benefit Reading of Oscar Wilde's beloved comedy The Importance of Being Earnest starring the legendary 5-time Tony winner Angela Lansbury as “Lady Bracknell.” The cast also includes Daniel Davis as “Lane,” John Glover as “Reverend Canon Chasuble,” Tony winner Jayne Houdyshell as “Miss Prism,” Simon Jones as “Merriman,” Hamish Linklater as “John Worthing,” Rebecca Night as “Cecily Cardew,” Lily Rabe as “Gwendolen Fairfax” and Tom Rhoads as “Algernon Moncrieff.”

The Theatre Group at SBCC will continue the 16/17 season with the hilarious farce, A FLEA IN HER EAR, a new version of Georges Feydeau's farce by David Ives, Directed by R. Michael Gros, March 1-18, 2017 in the Garvin Theatre.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2016 season will continue with Oscar Wilde's famous satire The Importance of Being Earnest, which will run from July 7th through July 24th at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown on Main Street in Hendersonville, NC.

The Humans begins preview performances Off-Broadway on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 and opens officially on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). Virtue and sin collide in Shakespeare's provocative Measure for Measure, opening on Saturday, July 20 on the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's main stage. With previews July 18 and 19, the play runs through August 4 in repertory with the same cast performing in The Importance of Being Earnest.
