BLIND TALENT is a heartfelt dramedy about coming to grips with challenging conformity and social hierarchy to find the beauty in the struggle to achieve your dreams. The story centers on Adrian (Kenny Lee), an actor on the cusp of stardom who has been an employee for the least-reputable studio in Hollywood. Now at the end of a five-year player contract, his recent diagnosis of macular degeneration threatens to abruptly end his budding career. In an attempt to keep his job, Adrian turns to his Aunt Kay (Sheila Walker), a former manager in her own right, and the two work out a day-to-day routine and system to maintain normal appearances. But as Adrian begins to lose more and more of his sight, he must be honest with those around him, and ultimately, himself, proving there is no blind lucka?? only blind talent.

First Date by Austin Winsberg, Alan Zachary, and Michael Weiner follows blind date newbie Aaron and serial-dater Casey as they meet for the first time in a bustling New York restaurant. What was supposed to be a relaxed drink by the bar soon turns into a hilarious high-stakes dinner.

CRE Outreach is pleased to present the World Premiere of POINT OF EXTINCTION, a Science Fiction Political Thriller written by Cosette Ruesga and David Shecter featuring original songs by Laurie Grant. The production is directed by Greg Shane, Artistic Director of CRE Outreach and performed by Theatre by the Blind, the only blind theater company in the country featuring actors doing the improbable with great skill, and by the gifted musicians with autism from Rex & Friends. Performances take place from Friday, June 21 through Sunday, July 7, 2019 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm (except dark on Saturday, June 29), and Sundays at 3pm, at The Blue Door, located at 9617 Venice Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232. This awe-inspiring, production, featuring illusions created by Magic Castle magician Dominik Krzanowski, challenges conventional expectations about the capabilities of individuals who live without sight, struggle with movement, or have difficulty understanding the complexities of social interactions.

Maxwell started his company in order to help retain employment for blind musicians and performers, studio engineers, and actors.

Last Night, March 7, stars from all over the world came out for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California. 'The Hurt Locker' won Best Picture and the film's director Kathryn Bigelow took home the award for Best Director. Jeff Bridges took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his work in 'Crazy Heart', Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for 'The Blind Side', Christoph Waltz took home Best Supporting Actor for 'Inglourious Basterds' and Mo'Niqe garnered the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Precious'.
