Following their critically acclaimed adaptation of Malorie Blackman's novel Noughts and Crosses , Pilot Theatre, in co-production with Belgrade Theatre, will stage Emteaz Hussain's exciting new adaptation of Alex Wheatle's award winning young adult novel – Crongton Knights. 

Hershey Felder PRESENTS the Midwest Premiere of Our Great Tchaikovsky, a new play-with-music featuring the compositions of Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Directed by Trevor Hay with a book and performance by Hershey Felder. Following critically acclaimed and record breaking productions at San Diego Rep, Hartford Stage, Los Angeles' Wallis Annenberg, Theatreworks Silicon Valley and London's West End, Felder's newest work takes on Russia's most celebrated and perhaps most mysterious composer, Tchaikovsky. A time-bending story of culture and politics that explores the mystery around some of the greatest music ever composed, Our Great Tchaikovsky will begin April 11 and close May 13.

TOP satire writer Henry Naylor - a leading member of ITV's Spitting Image team - went to Afghanistan to research a hard-hitting comedy but came back a changed man to write his first serious drama - and now the play is set to come to Greenwich Theatre for five days this month (January 17-21).

Walnut Street Theatre's Independence Studio on 3 brings audiences Mark Brown's adaptation of Jules Verne's masterpiece Around the World in 80 Days. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to experience this wild adventure before it travels as the third national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production. Around the World in 80 Days opened in Philadelphia on January 17th and runs through February 3rd in the intimate Independence Studio on 3. Rehearsals are underway for Steppenwolf for Young Adults' world-premiere stage adaptation of the bestselling novel, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, adapted by Heidi Stillman. The Book Thief is staged by Hallie Gordon in partnership with Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago and the citywide, season-long Now Is The Time initiative with Chicago Public Library, Facing History and Ourselves and other local cultural organizations. The Book Thief runs October 16 - November 9, 2012 in Steppenwolf's Upstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St); the press performance is on October 20 at 3pm.
