The 92Y had a swinging start to it's Lyrics & Lyricists Series this weekend with a blockbuster show celebrating the life and music of Bobby Darin. Ted Chapin with his first undertaking as L&L producer created a fascinating and entertaining production which had many in the 92Y audience commenting 'move it to Broadway.' In fact the 5 day event had many Broadway producers in attendance as the buzz about the show travelled from 92nd street to 42 street.

A bevy of New York talent and Broadway producers mingled with guests in New Hope, PA, during the cast party held at Hotel du Village following the opening night performance of 'Rock and Roll Man: The Alan Freed Story', a Caiola Production, making its world premiere at Bucks County Playhouse through October 1, 2017. Academy and Tony Award-Winning actor and photographer Joel Grey celebrated the release of his new book, titled 1.3 - Images from My Phone, at Barnes at Noble Tribeca (97 Warren St. at Greenwich St.) on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:00 p.m. The book, published by powerHouse, is Grey's third published book of photographs and will be available in stores nationwide June 2.
