Walnut Street Theatre (WST) continues its 213th season with Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID. Directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by John MacInnis, the production begins previews on November 16, 2021, opens November 24, and continues through January 2, 2022 on the Walnut’s Mainstage.

Exit 82 Theatre Company is bringing Little Shop of Horrors to Downtown Toms River this October with a theme fit for Halloween. 'Television is the source for most information today and we wanted to incorporate that theme into our show. K'Arts Ballet of Korea will present the American premiere of Song of the Mermaid, a fantasy ballet choreographed by SunHee Kim, running October 20 and 21 at New York City Center. Song of the Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beloved tale "The Little Mermaid," will star Kimin Kim,principal dancer of Mariinsky Ballet, and feature 40 dancers and an original score composed by Hana Ryou

'The Little Mermaid' a Broadway production inspired by the Disney movie, will be staged in Brazil at Teatro Santander on March 30. The director and choreographer Lynne Kurdziel-Formato, who has been at the forefront of several musicals in the world, will sign the Brazilian version, intended for the public of all ages, both for those who keep the film in their affective memory and for the new generations. It is the first time Disney has allowed an staging in the country, without obligation to be a replica of the American. IMM and Stephanie Mayorkis of EGG Entertainment have bought the rights to perform this show in Brazil, which will have 33 actors on stage and 12musicians.

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) continues its 2017-2018 season with the Thousand Oaks premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Peter Parnell (based on the Victor Hugo Novel and songs from the Disney film), musical direction by Dan Redfeld, choreography by Michelle Elkin and directed by Misti B. Wills. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME opens on Friday, April 20, 2017 and runs through Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

North Carolina Theatre (NCT), the region's premier producer of professional Broadway musicals now celebrating 30 years, has announced the casting for their upcoming original production of Disney's The Little Mermaid, their final show of the 2013/14 season. This will be the professional regional premiere of the production, running from July 29 to August 3, 2014 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
