Last night, August 8, star and composer of the 2006 indie film and Tony-winning Broadway musical ONCE Glen Hansard joined the national touring cast at the Pantages in Los Angeles for a special performance after the curtain call. Check it out below!

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was presented earlier this week in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 12-piece orchestra. The production, based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, opened to rave reviews on Sunday, March 18, 2012 and is playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, 242 West 45th Street. In honor of their one-year anniversary, the cast of ONCE wrote and performed a song to thank fans for their continued support. Watch it below!

At the special performance, Cristin Milioti who will be leaving the show on March 24, gave a heartfelt speech and the cast performed a special encore that was cut early in the show's downtown run and only performed twice.
