Will Connolly originated the role of Andrej in Once at New York Theatre Workshop before bringing the performance to the original Broadway production.
His Off-Broadway credits include After the Blast at Lincoln Center Theater, where he appeared as Lowes and Arthur; This Ain’t No Disco at Atlantic Theater Company; and Clueless, the Musical with The New Group, in which he played Travis.
In 2024, he appeared in Teeth at Playwrights Horizons, portraying Truthseeker in the premiere production and Brad O’Keefe in its return engagement, further highlighting his range and continued presence in new work development.

His first Broadway credit was in 2014 as assistant director, working on The Lyons by Nicky Silver. Pinkleton’s first choreography credit on Broadway was for a revival of Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal.
He started working on the musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 in 2013 after seeing the first performance of it in 2012 at the Ars Nova theater in New York City.
