Michael Korie wrote the lyrics to composer Scott Frankel's music for Grey Gardens, Far From Heaven, Doll, Happiness, Meet Mister Future, and War Paint. Their scores have been nominated for Tony and Drama Desk Awards, received The Outer Critics Circle Award, and have been produced on and off Broadway, nationally and in Europe. He was born in New York City in 1944 and grew up with a love of theater, attending productions on Broadway and Off-Broadway as a teenager.
