The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been taped at the Ed Sullivan Theatre located on Broadway between 53rd and 54th Streets since it began in 2015. Before the Broadway-loving Colbert took over The Late Show, the host was David Letterman, who ruled late night from 1993 onward via his perch at 1697 Broadway.

Kaley Cuoco is set to star as Doris Day in a limited series based on A.E. Hotchner’s 1976 biography, “Doris Day: Her Own Story.” The project will be produced by Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

Legendary actress and singer Doris Day has died at age 97, according to AP. Her death was confirmed by her foundation, The Doris Day Animal Foundation.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. That Touch of Mink (1962), a romantic comedy with the iconic Cary Grant. The Thrill of It All (1963), a romantic comedy with wry, handsome leading man James Garner. Day was one of the top box office and pop stars of the '50s and '60s, In all, she appeared in 39 feature films.
