REELZ today announced its September 2020 lineup with six new original specials and a returning original series highlighted by new stories celebrating the remarkable lives and enduring legacies of Bernie Mac and Lucille Ball.

This week, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (Folksbiene)-led by Zalmen Mlotek, Artistic Director, and Dominick Balletta, Executive Director-brings the stage to global audiences with Folksbiene LIVE!, featuring celebrated Yiddish star Avi Hoffman, Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish's Joel Grey, Steven Skybell, Adam B. Shapiro and Zisl Slepovitch.

Johnson Gallery is proud to present Zapf Dingbats, an exhibition of new works by Jim Drain, opening with a public reception on December 3, 2018, and remaining on view until January 5th. The exhibition will comprise sculptures, drawings, and wallpaper, furthering Drain's explorations of disparate materials, as well as the history of assemblage, in order to emphasize the liberating potential of intuitive making. These works, which obliquely or explicitly engage the history of utopianism, come at a dark time in American history, and yet, they suggest something brighter, more inclusive.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today six-time Grammy-winning artist and actress Toni Braxton is set to star as Darlene Love in the network's first scripted TV film 'My Name is Love: The Darlene Love Story.'

We are sad to report the news today, that Harry Kullijian, husband of Broadway legend, Carol Channing, passed away on Monday in Southern California, just a few short days of his 92nd birthday. Channing, performed the night before in 'A Carol Channing Chirstmas' at the Agua Caliente Resort & Casino in Rancho Mirage, California and the next day Kullijian collapsed at home, and died from what the Modesto Bee describes as an aneurysm related condition, that he had been treated for two years prior.
