A Doll's House is officially back on Broadway! This all new revival is led by Jessica Chastain, taking on the iconic role of 'Nora Helmer' in Henrik Ibsen's landmark drama. The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

Pasadena Playhouse has announced casting and creative team for the Los Angeles premiere of the Richard Nelson, Richard Pevear, and Larissa Volokhonsky translation of Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov coming to the Playhouse June 1 through June 26; the press opening is Sunday, June 5 at 5 p.m. 

The acclaimed cast will include actress and presenter Preeya Kalidas as 'Margo Leadbetter', Dominic Rowan as 'Jerry Leadbetter', and Sally Tatum as 'Barbara Good', joining the previously announced actor and comedian Rufus Hound as 'Tom Good'. Also featured will be Nigel Betts and Tessa Churchard.

The four Oscar® statuettes will be presented at the Academy’s 12th Governors Awards on Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Los Angeles.

Playhouse on Park's 12th Main Stage Season opened with the film of the play KENNEDY: BOBBY'S LAST CRUSADE by David Arrow. This panel discussion is a continued conversation about the life and work of Robert F. Kennedy, precipitated by the filmed play.

The production opens on 5 November, with previews from 26 October, and runs until 22 December.

It is always exciting when you sit in a theater to see the world premiere of a new musical.
