Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture will continue this summer with line-up of largescale public art, immersive theatre, innovative music, powerful exhibitions, open-air cinema, and community activity.

A stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1930’s spy film (which was in turn was an adaptation of John Buchans novel), The 39 Steps is a madcap dramedy set in 1935 but many of its themes feel relevant today, despite the wacky premise of just four actors playing 139 characters.

The Frist Art Museum presents Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature, the first exhibition to tell the broader life story of the beloved English author and illustrator. Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to announce the Test Flight 2019 series. A performance at the new Brooklyn Comedy Collective, a comedy theater in residency at the Brick in Williamsburg, Lockwood will play Fag and Zucker will play Hag in an over-prepared 1930's revue featuring a gay man and his funny, sad friend!

The Broadway League has announced the recipients of its 22nd annual National Education and Engagement Grants. These grants support inspiring and inventive programs for a wide range of participants to experience and understand Broadway performances as a form of artistic expression and a powerful educational tool.

The season begins with King Lear by William Shakespeare. The production will coincide with the Folger Shakespeare Library's national tour of First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare, which will bring a rare first folio to UConn's campus where it will be displayed September 1-25, 2016 in the William Benton Museum of Art. King Lear will be directed by Dale AJ Rose and play onstage in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre October 6-16, 2016.
