The brand new Elektra Theatre officially opens in Times Square tomorrow evening, July 25th. The first tenant at the Elektra Theatre is the transfer of the award-winning smash Off-Broadway hit, SILENCE! The Musical. The festivities will begin with a 6 PM cocktail hour, attended by Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Kara Lindsay and the cast of Broadway's NEWSIES. There will be an 8:30 after party immediately following the 7 PM performance of SILENCE! The Musical.

The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, will add Sunday evenings to the new Spring playing schedule beginning this Sunday, March 4th at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) SILENCE! The Musical has a book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli.
