La MaMa will present the world premiere of Betsy by award-winning choreographer Neil Greenberg. A proper noun, a subject that does and performs, Betsy is a new dance exploring the phenomenon of performance itself. Performances will take place November 12–14.

Broadway music director, conductor, arranger, and songwriter Donald Pippin has passed away at 95. Pippin's work included his notable collaborations with Jerry Herman, including Mame and La Cage aux Folles. 

Mason's 1986 one-man show The World According to Me! garnered a Special Tony Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, an Ace Award, an Emmy Award, and a Grammy nomination.  Additionally, Mason's 1988 special titled Jackie Mason on Broadway won him another Emmy Award (for outstanding writing) and another Ace Award.

 This 2019/2020 season, the talent performing at The RRazz Room at Mizner Park Cultural Center is a diverse mix of world class artists. The McCallum Theatre presents Catskills on Broadway on Friday, February 22, at 8:00pm. The Catskills Mountains of New York, the cradle of American humor, launched the careers of many of our greatest comics. In this new version of the 1991 Broadway hit, Freddie Roman, Sarge, and Mark Schiff will have you laughing at good old-fashioned comedy that brings back the golden years of the Catskills. Freddie Roman, creator and star of Catskills on Broadway, adopted the attitude that if Broadway couldn't come to the mountains, he would take the mountains to Broadway. Catskills on Broadway was a new format for the Broadway community and the production earned Freddie acclaim and a stint on the Tony Awards broadcast.

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup of world-class entertainment scheduled for the 2016-2017 season that includes Broadway hits Mamma Mia, The Sound Of Music and Chicago, concerts with Bernadette Peters and Kristin Chenoweth, family-friendly musicals and entertainment, holiday surprises, comedy legends and solid gold memories, all part of a very full and exciting roster.  Subscriptions go on sale on Tuesday, April 5th at 8am for the Broadway Blockbuster Series, Broadway and Beyond Series, Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum Series, Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel Series, as well as a Create-Your-Own Series which allows patrons to mix, match, and program one performance or a full season of entertainment tailored to their own individual tastes. 

Mercedes Ruehl is no stranger to the high-stakes of mother/daughter on-stage drama. In her 1991 Tony Award-winning performance as the intriguing 'special' daughter Bella in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers, she stood-up to her stern mother on more than one occasion. Only now, the tables have turned! Ms. Ruehl finds herself on Broadway as the mighty matriarch in Richard Greenberg's family-feud 'The American Plan.'
