Artistic Director Christopher Haydon today announces the Gate Theatre's new season Nuclear: A Season about the Family. The season opens with the world premiere of Nina Segal's In the Night Time (Before the Sun Rises), followed by the world premiere of The Iphigenia Quartet which includes Agamemnon by Caroline Bird, Iphigenia by Suhayla El-Bushra, Clytemnestra by Lulu Raczka and Chorus by Chris Thorpe.

In September, New Conservatory Theatre Center opens its 2015-16 Season with the U.S. Premiere of For the Love of Comrades, the impassioned, gritty and inspiring new play by Micheal Kerrigan, with script development by Patricia Byrne and Mary Connors.

The Public Theater will kick off the 2015-16 season in September with a free Public Works musical adaptation of Homer's THE ODYSSEY, conceived and directed by Public Works Director Lear deBessonet, with music, lyrics and book by Todd Almond. THE ODYSSEY will once again feature over 200 actors and community members alongside five equity actors, including this year Brandon Victor Dixon as Odysseus and Karen Olivo as Penelope.

Commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Horniman's Choice brings together four plays by the leading figures of the 'Manchester School' of playwrights - Harold Brighouse, Stanley Houghton and Allan Monkhouse, all originally championed by Annie Horniman, owner of Gaiety Theatre, Manchester, the first regional repertory theatre in Britain. Horniman's Choice runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 27 September 2015 (Press Night: Monday, 28 September 2015 at 7.30pm).

The Orange County Playwrights Alliance (OCPA) celebrates its 20th birthday in April with OCPA 20/20, a pair of Discoveries new play events at Santa Ana's Theatre Out. The April 18 staged readings take a retrospective turn and present one-acts from OCPA's 20 years; the April 25 staged readings present new one-acts referencing the theme '20 years'. The Old Globe is delighted to welcome one of the true geniuses of the American theatre, Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, who makes her long-awaited San Diego directing debut with an enchanting theatrical spectacle with live music and sumptuous visuals, The White Snake, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. The Southern California Premiere of The White Snake, written and directed by Zimmerman, will run now through April 26 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is tonight, March 26 at 8:00 p.m.
