Chris Alloways-Ramsey began his early training with Barbara (Olewine) Wouters, later completing his classical training with Mira Popovich and Dame Sonia Arova. He attended summer programs on full merit scholarships at Kirov Academy, School of American Ballet, Houston Ballet Academy, and San Francisco Ballet. Her graduated from high school at North Carolina School of the Arts with a focus in Ballet and received his A.L.B, cum laude, from Harvard University in 2003.

The Old Globe today announced it will present the Third Annual New Voices Festival, a weekend of readings of new American plays by professional playwrights, January 15 - 17, 2016.

Chattanooga, TN - The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, tonight, December 19 at 7:30pm and tomorrow, December 20 at 3:00pm at the Tivoli Theatre.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) presents its first production of 2016, THE BURIAL AT THEBES written by Irish Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, based on Sophocles' Antigone.  Directed by Charlotte Moore, THE BURIAL AT THEBES will now star two-time Emmy Award-winner and Tony nominee Larry Bryggman (Proof, Picnic, "As the World Turns") as Creon, The King of Thebes (who replaces the previously announced John Cullum), and Rebekah Brockman (seen as Nettie on the acclaimed Cinemax series "The Knick") as Antigone.  THE BURIAL AT THEBES will be performed Thursday, January 14 - Sunday, March 6, 2016. December 12 marks the centennial of Frank Sinatra's birth, which makes the arrival of Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Christmas, which plays for one performance this Saturday at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, all the more special. Since 2009, Hackett, son of the late comedian Buddy Hackett, and his wife, Lisa Miller, have been presenting their stage shows that celebrate the hip, swingin', ring-a-ding-ding aura of the original Las Vegas Rat Pack. During the late '50s and early '60s, the Rat Pack ruled the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, a freewheeling act that incorporated Great American Songbook tunes with a raucous, let's-throw-caution-to-the-wind attitude that became the definition of 'cool' in show business.

December 1, 2015 – Chattanooga, TN – The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present its annual holiday family tradition, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 20 at 3:00pm at the Tivoli Theatre. The CSO's annual holiday program returns to its roots with traditional holiday fare, featuring special guest vocalist and Chattanooga native Scott Coulter, star of the Emmy-nominated PBS Special A Christmas Carol: The Concert. Coulter will perform songs such as “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “O Holy Night”, and pieces from A Christmas Carol.

The Old Globe today shared its 2016 Summer Season, which will feature new and familiar works directed by four major American stalwarts. The season features the welcome return of Steve Martin (Bright Star) with the World Premiere of his new play Meteor Shower, an adult comedy, directed by Gordon Edelstein, in a co-production with Long Wharf Theatre, where he serves as Artistic Director. Paul Gordon's musical Sense and Sensibility will have its West Coast premiere, presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it had its world premiere in February 2015, directed by CST Artistic Director Barbara Gaines. The Summer Shakespeare Festival will include Macbeth, directed by Brian Kulick, Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company, and Love's Labor's Lost, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

THE BAKER'S WIFE opens tonight, September 18 at 8pm and run through Sunday, October 25 at the Actors Co-op David Schall Theatre, 1760 N. Gower St. (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

Based on Daniel Wallace's 1998 novel and Tim Burton's 2003 film of the same name, Big Fish, with a few minor changes in plot, becomes quite an imaginative musical...with Andrew Lippa, composer of some of the best songs written for a Broadway show in a long time. So, it is hard to imagine why its Broadway run ended after a mere three months. Now in its south coast California debut, Big Fish comes to Moonlight Amphitheatre, Vista with a divine cast directed stylishly by Steven Glaudini and choreographed vibrantly by Karl Warden with sets and costumes from the original New York production. It's a real charmer and another big hit for Moonlight's winning season.

Stoneham Theatre opens Season 16 with Stephen Sondheim's riotously funny Broadway musical hit A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. Performances run from tonight, September 10 - October 4, 2015.

Steven Berkoff and Shobu Kapoor return to the stage to play opposite Sanjeev Bhaskar in the world premiere of Anthony Horowitz's new play Dinner with Saddam.  The production, directed by Lindsay Posner, opens on 22 September, with previews from 10 September, and runs until 14 November.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Tony Award winner Michael McGrath (Sipos) will join previously announced stars, Laura Benanti (Amalia), Josh Radnor (Georg), Rene? Auberjonois (Maraczek), Gavin Creel (Kodaly) and Jane Krakowski (Ilona) in a new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock. The production is part of Roundabout's 50th Anniversary season.

Luna Paige brings her music to Cape Town in an hour long show at the Alexander Upstairs Theatre for one night only.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston's much-lauded 47th consecutive summer season concludes with the multiple Tony Award-winning musical Wonderful Town from August 6-16, 2015 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452).

Founded by BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling (On-air Producer and Host for live entertainment news events in Los Angeles), Sterling's Upstairs first opened its doors at the renowned Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City, CA. where it single handedly brought back to Los Angeles the art of intimate upscale cabaret concerts which had all but vanished from the cultural scene in movie town, USA.  However, in due time, the venue was whole heartedly embraced by enthusiasts of LA's performing arts community and continued to thrive for 6 successful years in a former storage room that was transformed by Sterling into a true supper club environment.  

The Playwrights Foundation's 38th Annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF) kicks off today, July 17, where it runs through July 26, 2015 at the Tides Theatre in San Francisco.
