The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, March 19 with a celebration of the legendary rock band Velvet Underground at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests will be announced soon. Tracy Stark, who leads a four piece band, serves as the evening's music director.

Australian musical institution The Whitlams will mark their 25th anniversary with a national orchestral tour in April and May 2017, playing at Adelaide's Festival Theatre on Saturday 6 May.

Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, the producers of Indecent -- the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE) -- have announced that the entire original Off-Broadway ensemble will travel to Broadway when the production begins previews at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), on April 4, prior to its official opening night on April 18.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today proudly announced that two legendary Hollywood icons, Mary Hart, former host of “Entertainment Tonight,” and Harry Friedman, producer of two of the most successful game shows in television history, “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune,” will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards this year.  Friedman will receive his at the 44th Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards on Friday, April 28th, 2017.  Hart will be honored on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 at the 44th Daytime Emmy® Awards.  Both presentations will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California.

In the winter of 1998, the Stage Guild mounted a striking production of ANNA KARENINA, with Tricia McCauley in the title role. Tricia became a member of the company, playing roles in 15 productions and many readings. Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), Chicago's only Equity theatre dedicated to producing new work with women at the core, announces the world premiere of Winter by Julie Jensen.
