As previously announced, Feinstein's/54 Below will welcome The Second Act Series back to their stage with a one-night-only concert of the much-loved musical Charlotte Sweet. Complete casting has been announced for the much-anticipated concert. Bethe Austin (Onward Victoria, Whoopee!, Noises Off, Raggedy Ann) will play Cecily Macintosh, with narration by Mara Beckerman, who originated the role of Charlotte in its original production.

For 50 years, entertainer Eddie Cantor and songwriter Irving Berlin were friends. Berlin provided Cantor with some of his biggest hits, from 'Mandy' to 'You'd Be Surprised.' Cantor was singing Berlin songs (such as 'Araby') in vaudeville even before he rose to stardom in the Ziegfeld Follies (for which Berlin was a major songwriter). And Cantor continued to sing Berlin songs in films, on radio, and on TV. In 'Irving Berlin: In Person,' Jon Peterson (portraying Berlin) speaks of Berlin and sings/dances 'Mandy.'
Director and actor Frank Corsaro has just been reported dead. He was 92. Corsaro was best known as the director of the 1961 production of The Night of the Iguana starring Bette Davis.

Rickie Lee Jones is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer who has created music in a variety of styles, including jazz, pop, rock, R&B, soul and blues over the course of her five-decade career. She has won two Grammy Awards: Best New Artist in 1980, and Best Jazz Vocal Collaboration in 1991, for her cover of "Makin' Whoopee" with Dr. John. In June, 2015, the documentary The Other Side of Desire was released, which followed Rickie as she created a studio album of the same name, her first in ten years.
