Previews begin tonight, October 4, for Academy Award nominated actor Chazz Palminteri's Broadway debut in his acclaimed show A Bronx Tale. The show, directed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks, plays a limited 18 week engagement at The Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street). Opening night is Thursday October 25. The engagement will run through February 10, 2008.

As the landmark American musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF celebrates its 50th anniversary, Arena Stage is bringing the show to audiences new and old in production on the intimate and iconic Fichlander Stage. Arena's artistic director Molly Smith directs the production which features the original Jerome Robbins choreography adapted and restaged by Parker Esse. George Street Playhouse, located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, today announced Jonathan Kite (TV's 2 Broke Girls) will play the titular role in Larry Shue's The Nerd, on stage April 24 - May 20, 2018. Internationally produced playwright Deborah Brevoort premieres her new farce The Velvet Weapon at Trustus Theatre in The Vista. This script is the winner of the Trustus Playwrights' Festival, an annual competition that gives a full production to a new original work. Famed director Jerry Zaks' film 'Who Do You Love' is set to open in theaters in Spring of 2010. 'Who Do You Love' is a biopic of the record producer Leonard Chess written by Peter Martin Wortmann and Robert Conte, and directed by Zaks. Leonard Chess was played by Alessandro Nivola and other cast included David Oyelowo. It was filmed in New Orleans in 2008, and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
