Director Walter Meierjohann has announced the cast of the world premiere of The Funfair, the first HOME production in its brand new home at First Street in Manchester. An adaptation by Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens of Ödon von Horvath's classic 1932 play Kasimir and Karoline, the production features a cast of 13 actors and actor-musicians.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the Public Lab production of TOAST, written by Lemon Andersen. Directed by Elise Thoron, TOAST begins previews on Tuesday, April 21 and runs through Sunday, May 10, with an official press opening on Tuesday, May 5.

The Trustees of The Laurents / Hatcher Foundation, Inc. are pleased to announce that THE GUARDS AT THE TAJ by RAJIV JOSEPH has been selected for the 2015 LAURENTS / HATCHER FOUNDATION AWARD. BroadwayWorld has just learned that a stage version of The Exorcist is currently in the works, and Tony nominee Sean Mathias is on board to direct the project. The play, adapted by John Pielmeier, enjoyed a run at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse in 2012, starring Richard Chamberlain and Brooke Shields. Production details have not yet been announced.

Black Lab Theatre has become well known for showcasing the city's funniest young talents, and this season's January regional premiere of Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still will be no exception. Black Lab artistic director Jordan Jaffe will delight Houston audiences with the city's most dynamic father-son acting combo, pairing the award winning talents of Justin Doran and his son, Ty Doran in an endearing and humorous look at family dysfunction and high school art instruction. Doran, a resident director at Black Lab Theatre and frequent star at Stages Repertory Theatre and the Alley Theatre, will star together with his son Ty in Tigers Be Still with the senior Doran playing Joseph Moore, a high school principal and young Ty his wayward son Zach.
