Lucky Stiff is an early project by composer Stephen Flaherty and lyricist/librettist Lynn Ahrens, who went on to create Once on This Island, Ragtime, and the underrated A Man of No Importance. It's an odd mating of one of those twee English comedies that always seemed to feature Alec Guinness and a dorky 1980s comedy, specifically Weekend at Bernie's.

Singer and Brandon Scott.  The show is centered around a quirky family preparing for a Hallows' Eve and night of the Fools Moon, a very special night as it happens only once every 100 years.

Mint Theater (Jonathan Bank, Artistic Director) today announced its line-up of EnrichMint Events for its upcoming production of A Picture of Autumn by N.C. Hunter. For each of their productions, Mint Theater hosts a number of post-show speakers for what are called "EnrichMint" Events. These post-show discussions are free and open to the public. The speakers may be experts on an author or era, or leaders in a humanities field that may bring an entirely different perspective on the play.

HBO Max announced today it will be crowning The Prince, created by Gary Janetti (Family Guy, Will & Grace), as the latest animated comedy series order for the streamer.
