Lincoln Center Theater's smash hit production of J.T. Rogers' new play Oslo, directed by Bartlett Sher, re-opens tonight at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street), after a sold-out run last summer off-Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

New Season of THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD IN 100 PERFORMANCES WITH ADAM GOPNIK Launches

A new season of The History of the World in 100 Performances with Adam Gopnik begins on Monday, April 3, at the David Rubenstein Atrium, with a look at the career of the great American soprano Leontyne Price. Joining Gopnik are internationally renowned soprano Renee Fleming and rising soprano Julia Bullock. Interspersed with audio and video clips, they will discuss Ms. Price's extraordinary career and the significance of the pioneering African-American soprano's role on the world's stages. Ms. Bullock will also sing several of Ms. Price's signature arias. The entire evening will be streamed on Facebook Live on Lincoln Center's Facebook Page.

Led by a trio of veteran Nashville-area actors - Dan Zeigler, Pat Street and Lynn Yates - the quartet of eponymous characters is completed by Ryan Chavez Richmond, who is quickly making a name for himself (and gaining more than a little notoriety along the way) on local stages. The four of them are joined by Jeanne Valcarcel Drone as Cassandra and Nikki Gavin as Nina in Durang's rollicking comedy that is sure to make you laugh uproariously one moment and bring tears to your eyes in the next.

The Public Theater announced today that three final performances have been added to the critically acclaimed New York premiere of Latin History for Morons, created and performed by John Leguizamo. Directed by Tony Taccone, this fiercely funny, satirical one-man show was inspired by Leguizamo's observation that Latinos are essentially invisible in the standard American history curriculum.

Richmond Ballet returns to The Joyce Theater for the first time since 2010 to perform four NY premieres from the more than 60 works commissioned by the Company since its inception. Under the 37-year leadership of founder Stoner Winslett – one of the longest tenured artistic directors of a major American ballet company and one of the few women in this position – Richmond Ballet has grown into one of the most respected midsized companies, presenting its body of works around the world. For their 2017 New York season, the Company has selected pieces by four gifted choreographers including Chinese-born Ma Cong, Warsaw-born and New York-resident Katarzyna Skarpetowska, San Francisco-based Val Caniparoli, and Richmond Ballet's Artistic Associate, Malcolm Burn.

Violinist Philippe Quint to Perform With the Santa Barbara Symphony, 3/18

Russian-born violin virtuoso Philippe Quint - lauded for his "fervidly expressive" playing (San Francisco Chronicle) and "bravura technique" (The Times of London) - will showcase his formidable endurance in performances of Antonio Vivaldi's timeless The Four Seasons and Astor Piazzolla's nuevo tango masterpiece The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires with the Santa Barbara Symphony on March 18 and 19. Conducted by Maestro Nir Kabaretti, and including Haydn's dramatic Symphony No. 101 ("The Clock"), the concerts will take place at 8 pm on Saturday, March 18, and at 3 pm on Sunday, March 19, in Santa Barbara's Granada Theatre. Tickets are now available.
