Legendary actor, director, writer and producer Jerry Lewis will make his theatrical directorial debut on Broadway with the new musical, ?THE NUTTY PROFESSOR?, based on the 1963 film that he starred in and co-wrote. With music by Academy Award, Emmy Award, Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Marvin Hamlisch and a book and lyrics by multiple Tony Award winner and Grammy Nominee Rupert Holmes, the musical is aiming for a bow on Broadway in the 2010/2011 season and is being produced by Loud Watch Productions, LLC.

The Tony Award®-winning Old Globe its 2009 Summer Shakespeare Festival with Shakespeare's Coriolanus. The production debuts tonight in the Globe's outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

The Tony Award®-winning Old Globe is pleased to announce the cast of its 2009 Summer Shakespeare Festival, featuring two works by Shakespeare, Twelfth Night and Coriolanus, along with Edmond Rostand's celebrated classic, Cyrano de Bergerac. The three productions will be performed in nightly rotation in the Globe's outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre June 13 - September 27, 2009.

Nina Foch, the Dutch actress best remembered as Milo Roberts, died today in her LA home. She was 84 years old. Nina Foch was a major leading lady of the 1940s. The tall and blonde Foch usually played cool, aloof, and often foreign, women of sophistication. Yet Foch also proved to versatile in many areas, holding a role as a panelist on several TV quiz shows. She worked as George Stevens' assistant director for The Diary of Anne Frank (1959) and directed several plays.

Arena Stage will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Death of a Salesman and A View from the Bridge in rotating repertory as a salute to one of America's best playwrights, Arthur Miller.

Lincoln Center Theater will present the New York premiere of The Glorious Ones, a new musical with book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty and choreography and direction by Graciela Daniele
