West End's CURIOUS INCIDENT Announces Extension of Booking Period

The National Theatre's acclaimed production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time today (3 February) announced the release of over 150,000 tickets, taking bookings at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End to 24 October 2015.

Lyric Opera of Kansas City continues its exhilarating 57th season with the Kansas City premiere of composer Kevin Puts' 2012 Pulitzer Prize-winning opera, Silent Night, February 21, 25 and 27 and March 1 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The production will be sung in English, German, French, Italian and Latin with English titles.

Yara Arts Group's DARK NIGHT BRIGHT STARS Runs 2/20-3/8 at La MaMa

'Dark Night Bright Stars' by Yara Arts Group, directed by Virlana Tkacz, recreates the meeting of Taras Shevchenko (1814-1861), the great Ukrainian poet and painter, and Ira Aldridge (1807-1867), the African-American actor who was much honored in Europe. La MaMa E.T.C. will present the American premiere of the work February 20 to March 8 in its First Floor Theater 74A East Fourth Street, Manhattan.

Best-selling author Michael Morpurgo, made a special visit to Ypres yesterday, Monday 22 December, 2014, accompanied by Joey, the life-size puppet horse and central character of the National Theatre's production of War Horse. Adapted for the stage from his novel in 2007, War Horse is now in its sixth year in London, on tour in Holland and will make its Belgian premiere in Antwerp in 2015.
