Conspiracy theorists, reclusive graphic novelists, one-hit wonders, glossed-over expressionists and a guy named Gnit are just a few of the wild-eyed obsessives we'll be obsessing about at the 2010 JAW: A Playwright's Festival.

On Wednesday, June 9, Cavalia makes its premiere stop in the New York tri-state area. Enjoyed by over 3 million people in Europe, Canada, and U.S. cities including Washington D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston, Atlanta, and Miami, Cavalia is a grand-scale spectacle involving acrobatics, live music, projected images and more than 100 performers, including a troupe of 60 magnificent horses from all over the world.

Producer Scott Sanders announced today that film and television icon Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) will bring his signature brand of hilarious mayhem to Broadway for a special six-week limited engagement of the acclaimed stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show.

On Friday, April 16, 2010 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops will celebrate Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe at Carnegie Hall with a vibrant program of the timeless music created by the iconic songwriting duo. Headlining the program are Kelli O'Hara and Paulo Szot, the stars of the Tony award-winning Broadway revival South Pacific. Tenor Michael Slattery, The Clurman Singers, and dancers from the New York Theatre Ballet join The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke for this thrilling collection of classic favorites from My Fair Lady, Camelot, Paint Your Wagon, Gigi and Brigadoon.

Mel Gussow, in his New York Times review of 'On the Verge...' wrote, 'Blending Tom Stoppard's limber linguistics with the historic overview of a Thornton Wilder, Mr. Overmyer takes his audience on a mirthful safari that leads from darkest Africa to Terra Incognita, spinning into time travel.'

The cast for the production will include James Reed, Stacy A. Spaeth, Ananka Kohnitz, Cheryl Tanner, Brian Heaton, Jeanette Sebesta, and John Kaiser. The show is directed by David Holloway.
